The right team – one of the keys to success

”Surround yourself with people having different competences, and do not think that being a brilliant scientist makes you a successful businessperson. It does not.” Kirsten Drejer is a Danish high-end entrepreneur with an impressing record of accomplishment. Founder and CEO of the biotech  company Symphogen, she has over the course of 15 years turned it into a business of billions, attracted investors from around the globe and created a truly international company in one of the most difficult areas of modern industry. It is a fascinating story in itself, but tonight she is pouring experience and advice on an audience of entrepreneurs in the making. NSE – Network for Science entrepreneurs – has Kirsten Drejer on the Advisory board and she dedicates herself to help new entrepreneurs to fulfil their dreams by showing them a realistic but also idealistic approach to the need of putting together the right team for growing businesses. “You will come to crossroads and will have to make choices. Make sure you have someone on board your team, either in the management, or on the board of directors, who have seen the crossroad before and know where it leads to.” She advocates experience, skills in all major disciplines of the company in question and internationalization at a very early stage for any company that wants to grow by attracting investors, developing products and winning the market shares necessary to be profitable. For the networking audience attending this evenings meeting she is representing all that most entrepreneurs wish for but only the few accomplish. The NSE-network builds on the idea of bridging, what is popular called...

Her er hans umiddelbare refleksioner.
